Dr. Jones, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy for school-age children and adolescents. Dr. Jones specializes in treating child/adolescent anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. In therapy, Dr. Jones uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while tailoring her approach in consideration of individual strengths, stage of development, and cultural factors. Dr. Jones completed her doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Rhode Island. Her pre-doctoral training included externships at Bradley Hospital, Butler Hospital, an elementary school, and an APA-accredited doctoral internship at Franciscan Children’s hospital in Boston. Dr. Jones completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Gershon Psychological Associates, a private practice in Rhode Island, where she provided outpatient therapy and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
