Amelia received a bachelor's in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from the University of Maryland. After this, Amelia received her master's degree in Social Work with a concentration on Clinical Practice and a specialization in Children & Families from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate careers Amelia did multiple field placements in the public school system.
