About Briana Cast, LICSW

Briana is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Briana brings a holistic perspective to therapy, recognizing that individuals are complex beings with interconnected mental, emotional, and physical dimensions. Her practice is grounded in considering the broader context of clients' lives, including their relationships, cultural background, and personal values, to gain a well-rounded understanding of their experiences.

Briana's approach stems from a combination of her training and personal experiences. Drawing from her years of experience working with individuals, families, and adolescents in hospital, community-based and legal settings, she uses various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Together, these specialized techniques allow her to tailor interventions to address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, pre/postpartum depression, navigating change, and improving relationships across the spectrum (friend, family, intimate partner, professional) effectively. Her goal as a therapist is to empower clients to tap into their inner strengths and resources, facilitating personal growth and positive change.
