About Deborah A. O’Bryan, Psy.D.

Deborah O’Bryan, PsyD provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr O’Bryan provides evidence -based modalities including CBT, ACT and Mindfulness Based /Stress Reduction approaches while with genuine care and compassion while treating those with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, and parenting issues.

Dr. O’Bryan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology. She received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. She completed multiple practical training experiences throughout her graduate studies in various clinics and hospitals providing psychological evaluations, individual and group therapy, and case management including: the Meier Clinic, Alexian Brothers’ Behavioral Health Hospital, Streamwood Behavioral Health Hospital, and Del Amo Hospital. She completed her Predoctoral Internship at JC Psych Corp in Torrance, CA, where she provided individual, marital, and family therapy, assessments, and led parenting and relationship groups. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. O’Bryan completed a Masters Degree in Counseling and earned a Pupil Personnel Specialist Credential from Point Loma University, San Diego which prepared her to work as a Counselor in Redondo Beach and Hawthorne School Districts.
