She has experience providing support to clients in emergency rooms, schools, day treatment programs, residential settings, and most recently in outpatient psychotherapy. Erin provides a relationship based approach to therapy with the understanding that change can only take place in a space that is comfortable, flexible, and supportive. She takes the time to nurture and cultivate a therapeutic relationship by using psycho-education, clinical theory, and a lot of humor. Through working with a variety of populations in a variety of contexts she has learned that each patient is an individual that requires different strategies, tools and treatments to foster growth.
Erin received her Masters of Education at Cambridge College which lead to a License in Mental Health Counseling. Prior to this, she attended Towson University in Baltimore to obtain her B.S. in psychology. She has furthered her education on attachment, anxiety, suicide prevention, and trauma informed therapy through attending trainings and conferences.
