About Meghan Elmore, LCSW

Meghan Elmore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelors of Social Work from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. She received her Master in Clinical Social Work with a focus in mental health and trauma from Boston College School of Social Work. Meghan strives to bring comfort, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to every session to work on identified treatment goals. She strives to promote her clients right to self-determination and works with each individual client to identify problem areas in their lives and engage in effective problem-solving techniques to make meaningful changes. Meghan often works with low self-esteem, working through feelings of shame/guilt, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, interpersonal conflict, emotion regulation and distress tolerance, substance use disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Meghan utilizes an evidence-based multimodal therapeutic approach to tailor individualized treatment plans and enhance likelihood of treatment success through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness techniques. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys spending time outside, listening to music, reading, and being with her loved ones and her two cats, Tae and Jinny.
