About Paul M. Miller, Ph.D.

Dr. Paul Miller practices psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. Although Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and related approaches provide the core of his practice, he integrates other modalities that suits the needs of his patients. He works with people coping with anxiety, mood and adjustment disorders, shame, and ADHD, and with adults with trauma histories. He has extensive experience helping parents more effectively raise children with executive functioning difficulties, learning disorders, depression and/or anxiety among other conditions. Dr. Miller enjoys working with adults who are wary about psychotherapy but who are willing to give it a shot. He brings a warm, personable, and down to earth approach to his work.

    Dr. Paul Miller received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Mass. Boston in 2000, where he also earned a Master of Education Degree in Counselor Training in 1991. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology in 2000 and, in 2003, completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School's Child and Family Psychology program. In 1982 he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Mass. College of Art and Design.
