Dr. Casavant treats a wide variety of behavioral health problems and uses evidence-based psychological treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy for children, adolescents and families. She has worked extensively with pediatric anxiety disorders, including OCD and separation anxiety, disruptive behavior disorders, sleep problems and depression. Likewise, Dr. Casavant provides treatment for patients coping with medical problems and chronic illness and she incorporates mindfulness meditation and biofeedback training. Vanessa Casavant, Ph.D. obtained her doctorate degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science/Chicago Medical School. She completed her internship training and post-doctoral fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center with a specialization in child and pediatric psychology.
